From Service to Justice: Making A Difference Through Pro Bono

Join us for a half-day CLE program designed to bring together legal professionals from across the North Country region and learn how they can help bridge the Justice Gap with effective advocacy in rural communities, legal issues impacting tribal members, and Social Security claimants.
Topics include:
- Social Security Administration’s process for determining eligibility, practical strategies for developing evidence, snd representing clients in SSA hearings and appeals.
- How to provide pro bono legal services in a culturally humble and competent manner.
- Recognize the interplay of State and Federal Civil Procedure when assisting members of SRMT.
