Worker Protection Program

Cases we Handle

The Worker Protection Program provides free civil legal assistance to low-income workers residing in Albany, Rensselaer and Schenectady counties who are experiencing legal issues in the workplace.  The Worker Protection Program assists individuals with:

• Employment Discrimination Claims under the New York State Human Rights Law, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
• Wage and Hour Claims under the New York State Labor Law and the Fair Labor Standards Act.
• Workplace Safety complaints with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the New York State Department of Labor.
