You just need to pick up the phone and call us to start the process. Don’t delay — there may be deadlines in your case! A staff member will gather some preliminary information from you and assign your case to one of the LITC’s attorneys.

While our attorneys who practice tax law are based in Albany, NY, they serve all 16 counties served by the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York.
Eligibility
In determining eligibility, we will consider household income and other factors. Call us to see if you are eligible. We primarily represent clients whose current income is at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level.
