Regular New York State Unemployment and Pandemic Unemployment Lifeline
New York workers who are unemployed through no fault of their own may be able to get unemployment insurance (UI) benefits of up to $504 per week for up to 26 weeks. If you have not applied for UI yet, you need to apply in order to get benefits. Due to the pandemic, the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) is much busier than usual and you may have trouble applying by phone.
